Meridian Yachts receives a second Customer Satisfaction Award in as many years.
News hit the wire recently that Meridian Yachts received a 2009 CSI Award for Excellence in Customer Satisfaction from the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), making '09 the second year in a row that Meridian was a recipient of the prestigious honors.
CSI stands for Customer Satisfaction Index, which is an independent survey evaluating boat owners' happiness with their new products. Meridian earned consistent scores above 90 percent in order to qualify for the CSI Award, which is in the "Inboard Motor Yachts & Trawlers" category.
Complementing product quality, dealers' efforts have played a pivotal role in expanding the brand. "Meridian offers an unparalleled network of retail dealers who share our commitment to provide an outstanding comprehensive ownership experience," Rob Parmentier noted recently. As Executive Vice President of Sea Ray Group, Rob is responsible for the Meridian Yachts brand. "This honor is as much theirs as it is Meridian's," he added.
Meridian's popularity with boat owners has grown dramatically in recent years. This second CSI Award comes on the heels of Meridian becoming the best-selling brand of bridge boat in the United States in 2008. And things continue to look promising: Meridian's 2009 sales are already leading its segment of the boat market.
