The inclusion of the cockpit on the 419 significantly improves performance of the vessel compared with similar designs. It prevents the center of gravity from shifting too far aft under heavy acceleration, creating an impressive "holeshot". The "wing" doors on the aft deck create a weather- and wind-protected spot to relax while underway.
